§ 01 / General Overview
I AM OKAY is a mental-health-awareness platform running on WordPress. I came on as maintainer.
I kept it running and developed new features on it, working within WordPress rather than rebuilding the platform.
As maintainer, my first job was keeping the existing WordPress site working — fixing what breaks before adding anything new.
On top of maintenance I developed new features for the platform. It's a different kind of work from a greenfield build: more about understanding what's already there and extending it carefully.
